Yes! I’M GOING TO BE GRANDMA AGAIN! I had to type it out big and bold so I could see it really good. It’s just so hard to believe cause this grandma stuff is happening so, so fast…however, I love it!! 🙂
I have a grandson, and now God, I’d really like a granddaughter so I can dress her up in frilly clothes and do just girl stuff with. That would be so very cool! But if You see fit to give us another grandson, that would be cool too! =)
Not sure why I’m praying at this late notice…it’s already set in stone!! LOL 😉
SERIOUSLY, I really don’t care what we get…just as long as the baby is happy and healthy

My daughter and her husband have been together since high school they graduated in 2000. They have lived together and got married September 2011. They live 3 hours away from us. The last visit was in September, Labor Day. Hubby did mention he thought then she looked “bigger”. They were home this past weekend and brought me a glittery box and said Happy Birthday (Sept! LOL), in the top of the box was a poem, after the first few lines I could tell that my baby girl was telling me she is going to be a MOMMA! I started crying and couldn’t finish the poem. I also have a framed picture of the Sept 25 sonogram. My daughter alwasys said she never wanted kids, but this was for sure a plan, I’m so happy she changed her mind!! The baby is due May 8, 2013! I am so excited but a bit saddened they live away from home!

Thanks for the welcome!! I was truly disappointed she didn’t share the news with us sooner, but now I only have half the time to wait! LOL I’m still on cloud nine and already ordered the grandma, pa and aunt shirts. I too have a younger daughter that is 14 yrs old, she’ll make an awesome aunt. Daughter went to the doctor yesterday and all is well. Listening to the heart beat Dr. says baby is very active. 2 weeks they are hoping to know the sex of the baby (shouldn’t that be a surprise? LOL) She has not been sick one time (I wish I were that lucky!) and still continues to work her job, which she will do after the baby comes, hopefully with no one to help her there they’ll figure out a way to do it. I’ve already jokingly told her I’m renting an apartment in her town 3 hrs away!! LOL
