I’m constantly searching for spiritual encouragement. While performing searches this morning, I came upon a few Christian message boards. I thought I’d share those with you today. 🙂 With everything going on in my life currently, (or any time), it’s a good idea to surround myself with spiritual individuals and also the scriptures.
I have been thinking about Faith Healing recently. And yes, I believe in miracles! See my post Here. I’m quite candid about it! lol
I should remember all these wonderful things when faced with tests and hard times. I’ve been so super busy as of late, I honestly have not taken the time to read my Bible as I should. With my comings and goings, I could easily take my Bible with me, or…even my iPad. I have all kinds of prayer and religious eBooks on the iPad. I could also easily slip that into my purse when leaving.
However, my memory is so very short these days! 🙁
Here you go with a few scriptures for encouragement…
James 5:13-16
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Matthew 9:27-31
27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
Luke 8:50
50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
