A good friend of mine just lost her father to cancer. And to make this grief extra hard, she just lost her mother… (I want to say) approximately 6 or 7 months ago. 🙁 So needless to say, the family is in need of a lot of prayer! 😉 Looking up bereavement in the Bible, I came upon these scriptures…
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you

Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee.

For He will give His angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways.
