Bible Scriptures For The Week – Faith and Scriptures For Grandmothers

This was another day that I just opened my Bible in no particular book, and just to see what God needs for me to read. 😉 He always knows what I need, as I’ve had more faith issues this week. This week, our household was filled with some flu germs and it’s taken a long time to get over the illness of these nasty bugs! I again, asked God why?? Only he knows, not I. =)

I opened up my Bible to

Galatians Chapter 2- Verse 16.— Yes, some more on faith =) This was the passage…

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Some More Scriptures…

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God

Romans 10:17

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Romans 5:1

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see
