“Courage is simply the willingness to be afraid and act anyway.” Dr. Robert Anthony It’s often easy to make the assumption that those who act boldly and achieve great things did so due to a lack of fear, but the reality is that every single one of us has fears, the thing that separates those who do from those who merely dream is a willingness to act in spite of whatever we fear.
The terrible thing about fear is that it doesn’t steal our dreams from us in one giant swoop, but insidiously creeps in moment by moment and day by day stealing them away from us as the thing we fear grows unless acted on.
Your life and your dreams are worth more than giving up on them due to something which may or may not happen, but as with everything in life, the choice rests with you and you alone whether you’ll decide to join the winners in the arena chasing down their dreams and beating down their fears one day at a time, or whether you’ll forever sit on the sidelines and watch others live a life you know you deserve to be living.
Ask yourself today, ‘What could I do today to take action towards overcoming what’s been holding me back from giving my dream and my life everything I’ve got?’
