Jim Rohn often said, you can’t control the direction of the wind, but you can control the set of the sail; in much the same way, you can’t always control the outcome you get or the circumstances you face, but you can control how you react to them.
Whatever life throws at you, the choice is in your hands whether you’ll keep on going and let time prove you right or whether you’ll throw in the towel and let something or someone steal your dream from you and defeat you.
Life’s too short to give up two-thirds or the way towards achieving your dream, when something comes your way, be thankful, it’s usually there to teach you a valuable lesson, and in overcoming it, you’ll come back stronger than ever before.
Ask yourself today, ‘When life knocks me down next, am I going to get up or give up?’
