There are really NO WORDS to describe how I felt when I seen my newborn grandson. I really did NOT think I’d get that emotional! I knew I’d cry…but there was some very unexpected feelings for sure.
I’ve heard so many grandparents say “there’s nothing in the world like it when you first meet your grandchildren” NOW I know what all the fuss is about! 🙂
It was truly the best moment in my life! Above getting married, (sorry hubby), above having children, (sorry slim)! And I haven’t even held him yet. I can’t imagine what that will be like. 😮
We are heading back over there this evening and I will find out. 😀
Another awesome moment was when my son started walking down the hall after returning from surgery with his camera of pictures. He was literally grinning from ear to ear!!! He will be a natural at being a Daddy! I’m sure of it.
He weighed in at 8 pounds and 3 ounces. 🙂
My DIL made it to 8 CM…and then they discovered that she’d have to deliver C-Section. She was crushed, but was all better when she saw her little boy! 🙂

Oh my gosh congratulations Tammy. The baby is adorable and look at those little wrinkles in his thigh. He is a nice size. I almost cried just looking at the smile on your son's face. How precious is that. Its a different kind of feeling totally when you hold your first grandchild. All the best to you and the new parents.
