Too often in life I see people wanting to make a change in their life but making the mistake of focussing outside of themselves not realising that until they first make the change on the inside, nothing will change on the outside.
Whatever you wish to change in your life or your world, you first have to own it inside of you before it will be revealed outside of you.
The great lesson most people who chase down dreams quickly realise is that the prize or dream they were chasing soon becomes far less valuable to them than the person they had to become in order to achieve it.
Next time you find yourself desiring to change something in your life, first ask yourself what you must do to become the person you need to be to achieve it, then and only then will you start to see true, worthwhile, long-lasting change in your life.
Ask yourself today, ‘How might the results I see in my life increase dramatically if I first focus on changing and growing myself on the inside before I turn my focus to changing things on the outside?
